Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a highly effective approach to couple therapy that focuses on reshaping the emotional bond between partners. In EFT sessions, couples learn to identify patterns of interaction that are at the root of emotional disconnection and conflict.
In a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, each partner learns to access, organize and share their emotional experience in a clear and coherent way, creating new and safe patterns of connection and communication. Throughout the therapeutic process, couples strengthen their emotional bond, develop more effective communication skills and learn to build more satisfying and rewarding relationships.

In individual EFT therapy, the focus lies on the client’s emotions and on reshaping the emotional connection with self and others. The therapist guides the client to explore his or her innermost emotions and identify the coping strategies and emotional regulation patterns they have developed to deal with pain and challenging emotions. We explore how these strategies are useful for you and how, at the same time, their use in various contexts can get in the way of your life. Depression, anxiety and other emotional stress reactions are the best attempts to deal with hidden or unbearable emotions.
Throughout the therapeutic process, clients develop skills to manage their emotions in a healthier way, fostering secure bonds with others as well as self-awareness, flexibility and resilience.
